I wanted to understand what was really happening beneath the surface. Why were some coaches thriving while others, equally skilled and committed, struggled to build sustainable practices? Coaching colleges and training programs were misleading coaches about the ease of creating a sustainable business. After all, if you look at the research claiming it's easy for coaches to earn substantial money, that research is conducted by coaching organizations themselves, such as the ICF. In reality, building a coaching business doesn't happen by accident.
